Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Arrive at Delhi airport and transfer to your hotel. This afternoon discover Old Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid; walk through the bazaars including spice market and narrow streets - a great way to absorb the sights and sounds of Old Delhi

Day 2 : Delhi – Nagpur by flight Nagpur – Pench by surface

Early morning you will be transferred to airport for your flight to Nagpur. You will be met on arrival and drive to Pench

Pench National Park or Tiger Reserve is one of the premier tiger reserves of India and the only one to straddle across two states - Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Pench Tiger Reserve comprises the Indira Priyadarshini Pench National Park, the Pench Mowgli Sanctuary and a buffer. It derives its name from its life line-the River Pench. Inside the park, the river flows from North to South before going on to join the Kanhan River, while splitting the Park into two, and forming the boundary of Seoni district and Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh. The Park is well-known for the profusion of flora and fauna found within the park as the varied species of wildlife

Post breakfast drive to Kanha

Kanha National Park is one of the India's finest tiger reserves. It is spread more than 940 sq km in a horse shoe shaped valley bound by the spurs of the Mekal range, the park presents a varies topography. Kanha National Park is Kipling country and the nearby forests were the setting for the "Jungle Book" by Rudyard Kipling. It's an outstanding national park and wildlife reserve of Central India, noted for its last remaining population of the hard-ground race of the Swamp Deer

Day 6: Kanha – Bandhavgarh

Bandhavgarh National Park is spread at vindhya hills in Madhya Pradesh. Bandhavgarh National Park consists of a core area of 105 sq km and a buffer area of approximately 400 sq km of topography varies between steep ridges, undulating, forest and open meadows. The Park is known for the Royal Bengal Tigers. The density of the Tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the highest known in India

Day 8 : Bandhavgarh – Khajuraho

Drive to Khajuraho

Khajuraho was once the capital of the Chandela Rajput’s of Bundelkhand. It is the dwelling place of the World’s famous 10th century Khajuraho Temples. These temples have attractive and erotic rock carvings and the carvings symbolize some of the beautiful specimens of the medieval Hindu architecture and sculpture in the country

Day 9 : Khajuraho - Orchha

Post breakfast visit Eastern & Western group of temples

Eastern & Western Group of Temples: The Eastern group of temples includes the Lakshmi and the Varaha Temple, the Lakshmana Temple, the Kandariya Mahadev, the Mahadeva Temple, the Devi Jagadamba Temple, the Chitragupta Temple and the Vishwanath Temple. The Eastern Group of temples houses the Parasvanath Temple, the largest and finest Jain temple in the city as well as the Adinath Temple, the Shantinath Temple, the Ghantai Temple, the Javari Temple, the Vamana Temple and the Brahma and Hanuman Temple.

The Western group of temples includes the Matangesvara Temple, the only temple in Khajuraho where the daily rituals still takes place and the Chausath Yogini Temple, the temple which is in ruins now and is believed to be the oldest temple in Khajuraho

Drive to Orchha

Orchha is a marvelous example of a medieval fort Palace. Within the turreted walls are gardens, gateways, pavilions and temples, near the confluence of the Betwa and Jamni river. The Raj Mahal with its Hall of Private Audience exemplifies Bundela Rajput architecture. Despite the neglected appearance, there are some beautiful murals on the ceilings and walls of both religious and secular themes. The Jehangir Mahal was built in the 17th century and synthesizes both Hindu and Muslim styles. Around the central square courtyard are the three-storied royal apartments decorated with domes, arches and hanging balconies. The decorative turquoise blue tiles, and latticed screens give this palace a delicate and airy feel.

Day 10 : Orchha – Jhansi by surface Jhansi - Agra by train

Morning visit Orchha fort complex. Drive to Jhansi station for train to Agra. You will be met on arrival and transfer to your hotel

Day 11 : Agra

Morning visit Agra Fort and Taj Mahal. Evening experience Mughal Heritage walk

Agra Fort is a historical fort in the city of Agra. It was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty till 1638, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. It comprises many fairy-tale palaces, such as the Jahangir Palace and the Khas Mahal, built by Shah Jahan; audience halls, such as the Diwan-i-Khas; and beautiful mosques

The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river in Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan (reigned from 1628 to 1658), to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
