Ranvas

About Ranvas

Ranvas is by Jodhana heritage acclaimed as more than just a hotel group, it is a keeper of traditions and heritage. Part of the restored Ahichhatragarh, Ranvas is literally a palace ‘fit for queens’. Inside are living spaces, bedrooms, quarters for the maids in attendance, kitchens and courtyards.

Havelis open out to a central large garden, beautifully landscaped with a pavilion in the center and surreptitious paths leading to the main fort; the pool and gardens adding to the sense of mystery. Each of the ten havelis offer two or three luxurious well appointed suites opening out to a garden or a terrace.

Things to Do

Camel Safari

Nothing could be a better way to explore the desert than on the back of a camel — ship of the desert. A camel safari is the perfect way to discover desert regions – especially areas as historically and culturally rich as Rajasthan. Take a camel safari ride and admire the sand dunes around you extending for miles – as far as your eye can see. A camel can take you places where a jeep or ordinary motor vehicle will struggle to reach. A camel safari, makes for a magical and perfect journey in the desert.

Horse Safari

Without a doubt India has some of the world’s most exciting and interesting horse riding vacation opportunities in the world. An Indian horseback riding safari through the best forests, unpaved trails, mountains is an experience to be remembered for a lifetime. Interacting on horseback with wild game like tigers, deers and many kinds of antelope is fascinating. There are plenty of opportunities for thundering gallops and some fine saddle horses. Visiting game country while horseback riding in India is much more in harmony with nature than doing it by a motor driven vehicle. It is a great deal more interesting than just sitting all day cramped in a land rover or a jeep confined to roads.
