Day 1: Monday : Depart Bangalore

Report in Lobby of Hotel Taj West End by 4 pm for Check-In formalities of Golden Chariot Train tour, followed by high tea,brief train tour presentation & cultural program. Proceed to visit ISKON Hindu Temple,before reaching Yashwantpura Railway Station by 8:15 pm to board the Golden Chariot Train. At 9 pm train departs. Dinner is served onboard.

Day 2 :Tuesday : Mysore & Kabini

On arrival at Mysore, visit Amba Vilas Mysore Palace,whose architecture style is a mix of Hindu, Muslim, Rajput & Gothic structure.View the Durbar Hall Wing and Personal Art Gallery. Later drive 2 hrs to Kabini Forest. Arrive in Kabini by 1.15 pm & check into rooms in Jungle Lodge. After lunch & brief rest proceed for Safari to Kabini jungles, abound with herds of Asian Elephants, Sambar & deer; wild boar,sloth bear gaur & occasional sighting of panther & tiger. Evening return to jungle lodge for screening of wildlife film, followed by campfire & Dinner.

Day 3 : Wednesday : Kabini Boat ride & depart for Mysore

Return to the Golden chariot after an early morning boat ride on the Kabini River and breakfast. Lunch is served on board and then depart for sightseeing of Srirangapatnam. Places to visit are the famed fort, Dariya Daulat and the Tipu Museum. A cultural dance show is hosted in the evening and dinner follows at a five star hotel. Return back to train by 10 p.m. & train is stationary at Mysore Station for the Night.

Day 4 : Thursday : Hassan

The day starts with a trip to Shravanabelagola. The trip is optional. Others can spend the time exploring local attractions. Lunch is served at 1 PM on the train after which proceed to Belur and Halebid to view ancient temple complexes.

By 7.15 PM, return to the train to freshen up for dinner at 8 PM. The train leaves at 8.40 PM for Hospet.

Day 5 : Friday : Hampi

On arrival at Hospet, freshen up and breakfast at 7 after which it is time to go sightseeing in Hampi to the Hemakuta Hill, Virupaksha temple, Elephant stables, Royal Enclosure, Queen's’ Bath and the Hazara Ram temple. After lunch you will go on an excursion to Vijaya Vittala Temple in Hampi to admire the Stone Chariot after which the Golden Chariot derives its name.

Day 6 : Saturday : Badami

From Hospet the train departs for Badami at 4 AM and arrives at 8.30 Am. Proceed to Badami Caves in Pattadakal and take in some sightseeing. Lunch at 1.30 PM follows and then the train proceeds across some of the most breathtaking scenery to Goa

Day 7 : Sunday : Goa

The train arrives at 1 AM at Goa. Wake up in the morning to a lovely breakfast served by solicitous attendants. Then it is time to go sightseeing to take in the churches, shop and saunter around. After lunch it is time to visit the beaches of Goa. By evening return to the Golden Chariot that sets out for Bangalore

Day 8 : Monday : Bangalore return

The train returns to Yeshwantpur railway station at 11.30 AM after a dream journey and guests get a lovely send off by the team of the Golden Chariot.
